I’m Connor, the artist and creator behind DreamersAloud.

Art has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, my grandma would teach me little art tricks and show me the fun side of animation and illustration. Those moments stuck with me and helped make creativity a part of who I am.

At the same time, I was dealing with difficult periods of my mental health from a very young age. As I got older, I drifted away from art for a while. During that time, I found myself in a really dark place, struggling with depression and thoughts of not wanting to be around anymore.

Then, somehow, I found a pen.

I started drawing again, and what began as something small became something much bigger. I created a world of my own—a colorful, strange, happy place that I could escape into when reality felt too heavy. It gave me somewhere to put the things I was feeling and somewhere I could simply exist, imagine, and create.

Over time, that world became something I didn’t want to keep to myself.

I started thinking about what it would look like if I could bring that world out of my imagination and into reality. What if other people could experience a little piece of the happiness, freedom, and creativity that I found through art?

So I started creating.

I began designing clothing, painting shoes, making illustrations, and turning the characters and ideas in my head into things that could actually exist in the real world.

And eventually, DreamersAloud was born.

DreamersAloud is my way of sharing that happy place with other people.

But I don’t want it to just be a clothing brand or an art project. I want it to become a safe and welcoming place for all kinds of people and all kinds of artists. A place where you don’t have to fit a certain aesthetic, follow a certain path, or change who you are to belong.

I want DreamersAloud to be a home for the weird, the colorful, the creative, the quiet, the loud, the dreamers, and anyone who has ever felt like they didn’t quite fit somewhere else.

Because I know what it’s like to need a place to escape to.

And now, I want to help build one that people can escape into.

A place where we can create without judgment, express ourselves without fear, find people who understand us, and remind each other that being different isn’t something to be ashamed of.

It’s something worth celebrating.

DreamersAloud is the world I once created to help myself through the hard days.

Now, I’m bringing that world to life—and opening the door for everyone else to step inside.
